If you register with Gravity, the information you supply about yourself ("Personal Data") may be used by Gravity to communicate with you and to provide services to you, like music recommendations. Examples of this Personal Data may be your name, email address and age, along with information about you contained on third-party sites with which the application connects, such as Facebook and Twitter. Gravity will not share your name, email address, or other personally identifying information with other companies. However, Gravity may disclose your Personal Data in response to legal proceedings, or as otherwise required to comply with the law; to protect the rights or property of Gravity or our customers; when Gravity has a good faith belief that disclosure is required to protect the safety of a person; or to a successor in interest to Gravity (including but not limited to an acquisition by or merger with another company).
We may conduct research on our end users’ demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis, and we may share this aggregated data with our affiliates, agents and business partners. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
When you utilize the Gravity application, we may receive certain personally non-identifiable information about your use of the Gravity application. Examples may be: your time spent in the application, the number of songs you played while using the application, your device operating system and similar data. Such information, which may be collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. We may store such information ourselves or it may be included in databases owned and maintained by our affiliates, agents or service providers. We may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of users of the Gravity application. Gravity may share non-identifying information with advertisers and other third parties to improve the relevance of the content provided by those third parties. It is important to note that no Personal Data is available or used in this process.
When you use the Gravity application, your mobile device supplies a unique identifier, which we use to associate certain data (such as music listening history) with your device. To provide these location-based features, Gravity and our partners and licensees may collect, use and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your mobile device. For some third-party partners, such as Facebook, this information will be shared automatically unless you explicitly turn off features designed to collect location-based information. If you choose to use some location-related features, such as sharing "Mood Maps" via email and Facebook, your location data may be disclosed to any party who receives and/or views the Mood Map.
